Sound moves colour, ideas flow in
rhythm, form searches for hold in tones, drifting on the spray of chords ... to
a unique "poly" work of art.
Oberhausen piano virtuoso Achim Jaroschek of Czech background - known by various
CD productions with Jazz stars like Peter Brötzmann a.o. - likes to create
musical reflections on social developments.
Duisburg painter and sculpturer
Sigrid Beuting uses her visual work and dialogue projects with international
artists to question human coexistence in the past, the presence and the future
in a new and unusual way.
During this project both artists will be searching for their cultural identity
in the melting pot of "isms" leaving traditional ways behind and overcoming the
borders of their respective fields by connecting them. For the very first time
they can be observed in a lively, surprising dialogue of their disciplines,
collaged by text elements written by Sigrid Beuting. After presenting prepared
ideas on which each of them will be responding spontaneously in their special
way, the meeting will culminate in a Première of a dialogue improvisation. Thus,
the spectators will be able to take part in the creative development of a
"Art-Music-Composition".
Beuting /Jaroschek promise an
ambitious, superior evening you´ll enjoy with your eyes, ears, heart and mind.
The successful Première took place on the 16. June 2002, 7 pm at the Foyer of
the Municipal Theatre in Duisburg, Neckarstr.1

"NANA" - Art Project on the occasion of the Cultural Weekend Duisburg
Result of a project done in public view. Individual variation of the famous "Nana" -Sculpture in the centre of the city of Duisburg. Title: "Human Being-Technic", ca. 200x150x80 cm, lack , metal handles on synthetic material, metal base. The sculpture is on loan and being shown presently at the Theatre "Theater am Marientor" in Duisburg. It can be sold on demand.

Malerei – Performance von u. mit SIGRID BEUTING im Duisburger Zoo
In dieser KUNST-AKTION vervollständigt die Duisburger Künstlerin eine von ihr vorbereitete Leinwand vor Ort mit gemalten Augen von Mensch und Tier . Neben dem bunten Farbenreichtum der Tiere werden ihr auch die Augen der Menschen im Publikum Modell sein. Die Besucher /innen können der Künstlerin beim Malprozess über die Schulter schauen, das Wachsen des Bildes erleben und auf Wunsch auch ihre eigenen Augen auf der Leinwand verewigen lassen. So entsteht nach und nach ein Bild der Sich- Betrachtenden, das den Prozess des Sehens und Gesehen- Werdens dokumentiert und die Zoobesucher/innen animiert sich auch einmal mit den Augen der Tiere zu sehen. Durch abschließendes Anbringen einer Edelstahlplatte in gleicher Höhe unmittelbar rechts angrenzend an das Bild wird eine diffuse Spiegelung der Zuschauer erreicht, die diesen Effekt noch einmal unterstreicht. Der Zoobesucher erlebt durch die augenscheinliche Ähnlichkeit seine Verwandtschaft bewusster und über ein „Wir“-Empfinden bestenfalls auch sein Verantwortungsgefühl füreinander auf diesem Planeten.
Nach positivem Jury-Entscheid konnte die Kunst-Performance am 22.5.2005
erfolgreich stattfinden.
Das entstandene Bild ist jedoch nach wie vor frei verkäuflich.

Der Dämonenzauber und
Grusel-Kitzel, der mit der aus dem Amerikanischen importierten Celebrierung
herbstlicher Kürbiszeit verbunden ist, wird in dieser Kunst-Performance mit
landläufig sogenannter "schönen Kunst" konfrontiert. Während Sigrid Beuting in
malerischer Aktion dekorative Stillleben-Malereien auf großformatige Leinwände
bannt , treibt Johannes Terbach als Dämon auf Stelzen provokativ sein Unwesen.
Stillleben wollen das Kürbismonster besiegen. Stil-Brüche sind eingeplant, ein
ungleicher Kampf mit unvergleichlichen Mitteln bahnt sich an. Wie mag er
ausgehen? Zuschauer/innen aller Altersgruppen werden gespannt einer modernen
Kunst-Inszenierung folgen , die die Frage nach "Was ist denn Kunst ?" auf ihre
eigene Weise stellt .
